A masterclass at the trade table lands the Chargers a B+. The war room fell hard for Michael Barrett, and it showed at pick No. 154: 35 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Spending an early pick on linebacker with running back and offensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
