When a board-topper like TreVeyon Henderson slides to pick No. 217, you do not overthink it, and the Giants did not.

The Higgins pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, wide receiver and other spots still on the board. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
