Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B

FutureB-
Grand theft in Round 6, Pick 32: the Seahawks steal Wright and grade out a B. You could see the war room lean forward. Dae'Quan Wright at the Round 6 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Perkins Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a ballhawk on the outside, outstanding value to boot. Need was not the driver here.
Pick64
Rnd2
Chris Brazzell II
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Chris Brazzell II in the 64th overall pick, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick96
Rnd3
Harold Perkins Jr.
Harold Perkins Jr. at pick No. 96 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick211
Rnd6
Dae'Quan Wright
Dae'Quan Wright at the 211th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
