After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Robinson.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had McCarthy lower, and that gap is the story.
