You can hear the double-takes from here. The Steelers took Eric Gentry at No. 237, roughly 32 spots before his name belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. On value alone, Singleton makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
