The Commanders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

Nobody else had Korey Foreman anywhere near pick 223. The Commanders did, by 154 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
