Everything downstream of Michael Penix Jr. depends on Michael Penix Jr., and the building knows it. The phones were where this weekend was really won. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first. They are betting Jones proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
