Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Lions never addressed offensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

The Worthy pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They are betting Cole proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered. The back end got a real overhaul.
