Nobody else had Brandon Coleman anywhere near Round 2, Pick 20. The Colts did, by 49 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Hicks to cover a lot of smaller sins.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
