The Saints looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Paris Shand at the 248th overall pick regardless, 110 picks early.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. However the rest shakes out, Shough at that price is a win they earned.

The Grover Stewart deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
