A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bills a A-. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 102 spots for Davin Vann, and value like that does not grow back. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.
They banked enough surplus on Lacy to cover a lot of smaller sins. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The veteran additions, Malik Hooker chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
They went 9 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
