Call it larceny. TreVeyon Henderson sat on the board until the 155th pick, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Every board in the league had Rivers lower, and that gap is the story. The trade work was a quiet net positive. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
