The rest of the league had time to spare on Fadil Diggs; the Giants did not wait, grabbing him 98 spots ahead at Round 4, Pick 33.

Whatever Cam Ward becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. However the rest shakes out, Giddens at that price is a win they earned. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
