The Cowboys robbed the room for Bowman Jr.. Final grade: D.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cowboys did exactly that with Shemar Turner in the 116th pick.

The Bowman Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

With linebacker unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
