The Browns bled value on every deal, hence the D-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Browns spent the Round 4 slot on Jacob Rodriguez, a name most had 44 spots down the list. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Sarratt pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
