The Commanders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

The Commanders clearly saw something nobody else did in Jawhar Jordan, taking him 77 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Everything downstream of Michael Penix Jr. depends on Michael Penix Jr., and the building knows it. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
