The Steelers let White fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Ricky White, the No. 177 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 246. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Beebe pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
