Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesC+ FutureB-
The Raiders bet the future on Mendoza. The board says B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Raiders did exactly that with Vincent Anthony Jr. in the Round 4 slot.

On value alone, Sabb makes the weekend a net positive. Fernando Mendoza gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick2 Rnd1 Fernando Mendoza
In the 2nd pick they get their guy under center for the next decade, even if it was a touch early. A real need, handled.
Pick33 Rnd2 Arvell Reese
Somehow Arvell Reese was still sitting there in No. 33, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick67 Rnd3 Jaeden Roberts
A premium they did not need to pay, Jaeden Roberts a notch or two before his time. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick102 Rnd4 Kenyatta Jackson Jr.
A real head-scratcher, Kenyatta Jackson Jr. in pick 102 is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick111 Rnd4 Vincent Anthony Jr.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Vincent Anthony Jr. this early at pick No. 111. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick136 Rnd4 Keon Sabb
Circle this one: Keon Sabb at slot 136 is a fall that decides a draft. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick187 Rnd6 Terion Stewart
A tidy bit of business in No. 187, where Terion Stewart graded well above the range. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick217 Rnd7 Isaiah Nwokobia
Isaiah Nwokobia at the Round 7 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick224 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
They went early on Trey Zuhn III in the 224th overall pick, and the value did not follow. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
