The Browns let Fitzgerald fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

Thirty-one other rooms let Ryan Fitzgerald slide, and the Browns were the ones holding the card at pick 257. Highway robbery. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
