The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a B- to match.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will need Zuhn III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. It is not that Trotter is a bad player; it is that the Raiders had louder needs to answer first.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
