The Raiders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Malaki Starks fell into No. 68.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
