After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A mixed bag that lands at C-.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Trotter. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Spears-Jennings has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
