A franchise passer in Mendoza headlines a C- weekend for the Raiders.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. With edge rusher, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. The Zuhn III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Branch value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
