They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Bo Nix is the Broncos' quarterback, full stop. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The cost of the McCaffrey reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
