The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Lathan Ransom slide 63 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Every board in the league had Jackson lower, and that gap is the story. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
