A franchise passer in McCarthy headlines a D- weekend for the Broncos.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Broncos spent slot 208 on Marshel Martin, a name most had 128 spots down the list.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. So much rides on J.J. McCarthy that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Harden pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
