The 49ers won the night they stopped Watts from sliding. Grade: B-.

When a board-topper like Xavier Watts slides to the 75th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Reaching for Pegues left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
