Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Panthers spent Round 7, Pick 2 on Marshel Martin, a name the board had a full 96 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
