The Bengals let Bryant fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-.

The phones were a trap the Bengals kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Getting Bryant where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting Zabel proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
