Draft Grade — Jets

FutureB-
Quarterback settled, Milroe in the fold, and a B+ for the Jets. The Jets spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Le'Veon Moss, the No. 140 name on the board, in slot 221. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
The whole projection now runs through Jalen Milroe; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They will need Milroe to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick12
Rnd1
Jalen Milroe
In the Round 1 slot they get a passer to set the clock by, though the board says they badly overpaid. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick39
Rnd2
Shavon Revel Jr.
Shavon Revel Jr. in slot 39 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick46
Rnd2
Harold Fannin Jr.
Circle this one: Harold Fannin Jr. at the 46th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick95
Rnd3
Jordan James
They barely believed it either: Jordan James still on the board at pick 95. The roster fit checks out.
Pick110
Rnd4
Deontae Lawson
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Deontae Lawson at the 110th pick. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick146
Rnd5
Keon Sabb
A safety of that caliber at the Round 5 slot is the definition of value, full stop. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick152
Rnd5
Andrew Mukuba
A top-tier safety at a bargain, Andrew Mukuba in slot 152, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick163
Rnd5
Jaeden Roberts
Jaeden Roberts slid further than he should have, and Round 5, Pick 25 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick183
Rnd6
Parker Brailsford
You do not let an offensive lineman like Parker Brailsford reach pick No. 183 and blink. They did not. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick208
Rnd6
Jihaad Campbell
Steal is underselling it; Jihaad Campbell at No. 208 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick221
Rnd7
Le'Veon Moss
Le'Veon Moss in the 221st overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
