The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Broncos spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Jordan at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
