You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Jaguars spent the 79th pick on Maason Smith while safety, quarterback and other spots sat unaddressed. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Rouse left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
