Luther Burden III Head Shot
PICK: 21 RND: 1 (PIT)
Luther Burden III
WR Missouri
Draft Grade — Steelers
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Steelers.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Steelers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

On the needs board they went 1 of 9, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Luther Burden III
No edge and no loss on Luther Burden III in pick No. 21; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
