Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Ravens let Greenfield fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in the 250th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Garret Greenfield, the No. 216 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The cost of the Wilson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Troy Fautanu
In pick No. 30 they get protection for the quarterback at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick62 Rnd2 Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil at Round 2, Pick 30 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick93 Rnd3 Johnny Wilson
Johnny Wilson at the Round 3 slot is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick113 Rnd4 Jalen McMillan
A tidy bit of business in No. 113, where Jalen McMillan graded well above the range. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick130 Rnd4 Cam Hart
Cam Hart at slot 130 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick165 Rnd5 Isaiah Davis
Value with a capital V on Isaiah Davis in pick 165, a genuine coup. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick218 Rnd6 Steele Chambers
Circle this one: Steele Chambers at the 218th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick228 Rnd7 Evan Williams
Evan Williams at the 228th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick250 Rnd7 Garret Greenfield
They robbed the room for Garret Greenfield here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
