You can hear the double-takes from here. The Saints took Jordan Burch at Round 2, Pick 8, roughly 49 spots before his name belonged.

However the rest shakes out, Hudson at that price is a win they earned. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Sauls pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

So much rides on JT Tuimoloau that the real verdict is a season or two away.
