The Ravens spent real capital to be 32 picks early on Malachi Lawrence, and the board is going to hold them to it. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Everything downstream of Fernando Mendoza depends on Fernando Mendoza, and the building knows it. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. That Slaughter pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
