The board owed the Ravens one, and it paid up: Jordan James, the No. 123 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 185 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Hancock to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
