Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB+ FutureB-
The Ravens kept it disciplined and banked a B.

Nobody had Haynes King this high, and it is not close. The Ravens reached 58 spots to get him at pick 252. No fireworks, but a solid B.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Moore.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Jordyn Tyson
In slot 18 they get a true top target. A real need, handled.
Pick45 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
Good price on Emmanuel Pregnon in the Round 2 slot, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick49 Rnd2 Dani Dennis-Sutton
They reached a country mile for Dani Dennis-Sutton at pick No. 49, and the board is aghast. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick94 Rnd3 Malachi Lawrence
A real head-scratcher, Malachi Lawrence in the 94th overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It fills a real need, too.
Pick108 Rnd4 Jude Bowry
A reach for Jude Bowry in pick 108; a little patience would have been rewarded. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick115 Rnd4 Justin Joly
Justin Joly slid further than he should have, and No. 115 is lovely value for the tight end. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick152 Rnd5 Domani Jackson
Domani Jackson at No. 152 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick160 Rnd5 Aamil Wagner
A conviction pick on Aamil Wagner at slot 160 that the board grades a round light. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick168 Rnd5 Louis Moore
Steal is underselling it; Louis Moore at pick No. 168 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick172 Rnd5 Reggie Virgil
Value with a capital V on Reggie Virgil in the 172nd overall pick, a genuine coup. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick173 Rnd5 Red Murdock
They liked Red Murdock enough to skip the value, taking him in Round 5, Pick 35. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick249 Rnd7 Jalon Daniels
A slide stopped in the 249th pick, with Jalon Daniels worth more than the price. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick252 Rnd7 Haynes King
Haynes King at the Round 7 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
