Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Ravens did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Joshua Cephus in pick 218, a good 48 spots before the room expected him. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Keegan steal is the beam this whole class leans on. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Kool-Aid McKinstry
In the 30th overall pick they get a ballhawk on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
No edge and no loss on Xavier Worthy in pick 62; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick93 Rnd3 Matt Goncalves
A reach on Matt Goncalves in the 93rd pick; the board had better options right there. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick113 Rnd4 Chau Smith-Wade
They liked Chau Smith-Wade enough to skip the value, taking him in No. 113. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick130 Rnd4 Justin Eboigbe
They left a pile of value on the table to take Justin Eboigbe this early at slot 130. It fills a real need, too.
Pick165 Rnd5 Trevor Keegan
They barely believed it either: Trevor Keegan still on the board at the Round 5 slot. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick218 Rnd6 Joshua Cephus
Joshua Cephus at the Round 6 slot is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick228 Rnd7 Frank Gore Jr.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Frank Gore Jr. in No. 228. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick250 Rnd7 Josh Proctor
A clean, defensible pick in pick 250 with a little surplus value in Josh Proctor. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
