Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Ravens.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Ravens left interior defensive lineman untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.

They will need Keegan to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The McCaffrey steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
In the Round 1 slot they get a double-digit-sack hope, outstanding value to boot.
Pick62 Rnd2 Patrick Paul
By-the-book stuff, Patrick Paul at No. 62 squarely in line with his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick93 Rnd3 Javon Baker
No edge and no loss on Javon Baker in the 93rd pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It fills a real need, too.
Pick113 Rnd4 Elijah Jones
A straight-up fair deal on Elijah Jones at Round 4, Pick 13, value and slot in agreement. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick130 Rnd4 Trevor Keegan
A conviction pick on Trevor Keegan at slot 130 that the board grades a round light. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick165 Rnd5 Luke McCaffrey
Luke McCaffrey at pick 165 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick218 Rnd6 Caedan Wallace
A clean, defensible pick in the 218th overall pick with a little surplus value in Caedan Wallace. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick228 Rnd7 Frank Gore Jr.
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Frank Gore Jr.. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick250 Rnd7 Tarheeb Still
Tarheeb Still is a better player than Round 7, Pick 30 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
