Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Ravens spent pick 245 on R.J. Oben, a name the board had a full 162 spots lower. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They banked enough surplus on Brooks to cover a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
