Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB FutureB-
The Ravens robbed the room for Braswell. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Ravens were there to profit. Chris Braswell, the No. 44 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 93rd pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

If Jefferson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Jordan Morgan
In slot 32 they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62 Rnd2 Keon Coleman
You do not let a wide receiver like Keon Coleman reach the Round 2 slot and blink. They did not. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick93 Rnd3 Chris Braswell
Chris Braswell in No. 93 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick95 Rnd3 Christian Mahogany
They took Christian Mahogany at par in the 95th pick, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick113 Rnd4 Cam Hart
Cam Hart at Round 4, Pick 13 is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick130 Rnd4 Chau Smith-Wade
They did well to land Chau Smith-Wade in the 130th overall pick, just ahead of his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick159 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
They paid sticker price for Tykee Smith in pick 159, and that is fine. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick165 Rnd5 Jordan Jefferson
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jordan Jefferson this early at pick No. 165. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick218 Rnd6 Kendall Milton
They let Kendall Milton come to them and pounced at the 218th overall pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick228 Rnd7 Tahj Washington
Tahj Washington at the Round 7 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It fills a real need, too.
Pick250 Rnd7 Richard Jibunor
Richard Jibunor at No. 250 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Not a spot anyone had flagged, which makes it a head-scratcher.
Pick252 Rnd7 Garret Greenfield
They barely believed it either: Garret Greenfield still on the board at the 252nd pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
