Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jack Kiser got past him. The Ravens do not have to explain a thing at pick 212.

They will need Lachey to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
