You build a draft on nights like this. Isaiah Williams had no business being available in pick No. 218, and the Ravens did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Reaching for Milton III left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
