Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chiefs were there to profit. Quincy Riley, the No. 171 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 256. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Majors has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.

In pick No. 31 they get an anchor for the defensive front, outstanding value to boot.
Pick63 Rnd2 Isaiah Bond
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 2 slot with a little surplus value in Isaiah Bond. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Nothing to complain about; Demetrius Knight Jr. went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It fills a real need, too.

They jumped the gun on Jake Majors, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick132 Rnd4 Ozzy Trapilo
Ozzy Trapilo in the 132nd overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick256 Rnd7 Quincy Riley
Quincy Riley in pick 256 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It adds depth where they could use a little.
