The Bengals torched the value chart for Sai'vion Jones, taking him 62 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

Barron falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The Bengals indulged a want in Jones while a need in tight end, wide receiver and other spots stayed open. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
