A franchise passer in Maye headlines a D- weekend for the Ravens. The Ravens treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending No. 233 on DeMonte Capehart a full 32 spots early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.
Whatever Drake Maye becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.
With tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on TE-EDGE is the choice that costs them. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
