The Ravens did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Nohl Williams fell into No. 176.

Reaching for Dellinger left real value on the table behind him. With quarterback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
