MadLion52 DRAFTING FOR THERavens

Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureB-
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Ravens: B-. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 62 spots for Davin Vann, and value like that does not grow back. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
Giddens at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick27
Rnd1
Grey Zabel
In Round 1, Pick 27 they get protection for the quarterback. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick59
Rnd2
Carson Schwesinger
They went early on Carson Schwesinger in pick 59, and the value did not follow. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick91
Rnd3
Andrew Mukuba
Andrew Mukuba in the Round 3 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick129
Rnd4
Dorian Strong
A reasonable price with a little left over, Dorian Strong in slot 129. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick136
Rnd4
Tyler Baron
They left a pile of value on the table to take Tyler Baron this early at pick No. 136. The roster fit checks out.
Pick176
Rnd5
CJ West
The board had cheaper options than CJ West at No. 176, and it noticed. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick183
Rnd6
Jack Nelson
Jack Nelson at pick No. 183 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick203
Rnd6
DJ Giddens
They robbed the room for DJ Giddens here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick210
Rnd6
Karene Reid
Karene Reid at pick 210 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick212
Rnd6
Davin Vann
Davin Vann at No. 212 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick243
Rnd7
John Williams
John Williams at the 243rd pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
