The Bills let Slaughter fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in Round 2, Pick 32 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bills sat still while Jake Slaughter, the No. 22 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

If Hall pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
